It wasn't nominated by me. For some reason, though, most submissions are supposed to be self-selected. But if the purpose of the carnival is to draw attention to lesser-known bloggers, this doesn't entirely make sense. It seems to assume either that lesser-known bloggers can't be selected by their readers because they are not read; but lesser-known bloggers are not unknown bloggers. Or it assumes that these bloggers are confident that their posts are interesting, and have the desire to promote them.... And bloggers of whom these things are true are likely to be widely read already.
